War Anniversary Stokes Anti-Japan Furor in China

Eighty-one years ago today, a small explosion was staged at a Japanese-owned railway station near what was then known as Mukden, China. The Mukden Incident incited a Japanese invasion and subsequent fourteen-year occupation. Chinese state broadcaster CCTV reports on the anniversary, and ties it to the current Diaoyu/Senkaku dispute.
