Turkish Police Wounded by Bomb in Istanbul

Fifteen policemen and one civilian have been injured in an explosion near the headquarters of Turkey's ruling party in Istanbul. The device is believed to have been mounted onto a parked motorbike near the AK party's building. The explosion was remote-controlled, according to the city's police chief. Istanbul's governor says a plastic explosive was used. The area has been sealed off as a precaution. It is unclear who carried out the attack.
