Train Crushes Indian Elephant

What's more powerful than an elephant? A speeding train in India, the one that crushed an elephant in West Bengal. The great beast was struck as it tried to cross the tracks in the forested Jalpaiguri area in a section know as "elephant corridor" in a wildlife preserve. The "gentle giant" died instantly, said an official. No one on the train was seriously injured. It's the sixth elephant to be killed on the tracks.
