Sukhoi Crash Shocks Ailing Russian Aviation Industry

A search spokesman says no survivors have been found amid wreckage of Russian Sukhoi plane that crashed in Indonesia with 45 people aboard. The superjet crash is expected to take a costly toll on the ailing Russian aviation industry, which has struggled since its USSR heyday. Russia spent up to seven billion dollars on the Sukhoi project and is a long way from breaking even.
