South Africa: Unrest as 12,000 Striking Miners Are Sacked
October 05, 2012 from Al Jazeera English
Anglo American Platinum, the world's largest platinum producer, has sacked up to 12,000 miners in South Africa for staging what the company said is an unlawful strike. Al Jazeera's Tania Page reports from Rustenburg.
