Mexican leftist presidential candidate Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said at a press conference Monday that he plans to challenge the outcome of Sunday's election, claiming the results were plagued by irregularities. Asked what had changed his mind after previously claiming hundreds of thousands of observors would ensure there could be no possibility of fraud, he replied, "The election."
