Police and Protesters Clash on Oakland Streets

Police in riot gear fire stun grenades and tear gas at crowds of protesters during clashes which led to dozens of arrests on the city's streets. While some demonstrators seemed intent on provoking the police through acts of violence or vandalism, others disowned their actions and called instead for peaceful protests.
