When asked by a voter how each candidate intends to rectify gender inequality in the workplace, Barack Obama was quick to recall the Lilly Ledbetter first bill he signed in office, which makes it easier for employees to file equal pay lawsuits. By contrast, Mitt Romney stumbled over his claim to have been an equal-opportunity boss as Massachusetts governor, awkwardly saying that he had redressed a gender imbalance by bringing in "binders full of women" to the state house -- a comment that has quickly become an internet meme.
