London Riots: Most People 'Just Want to Steal'

The violence began in Tottenham in the north of the city on Saturday night - after a peaceful about a young black youth shot dead by police. But three nights on the trouble has spread across the London capital. Al Jazeera's Barnaby Phillips, reporting from Stoke Newington, North London, said the area was calm because "the Turkish community - which is very close - is guarding its properties".
