Japan Tsunami Anniversary: Tomioka's Last Inhabitant

Tomioka was once home to 16,000 people, but now only Naoto Matsumura remains. The town lies inside the exclusion zone set up around the stricken Fukushima nuclear reactor after last year's devastating tsunami. Without electricity and running water, Matsumura braves loneliness and the constant threat of exposure to elevated levels of radiation to feed a menagerie of animals left behind.
