Iraq: Rights Groups Decry Draconian Internet Law

Rights groups in Iraq condemned a draft of an electronic crimes law that would impose a series of penalties on several alleged Internet crimes, including the violation of religious and ethical values, immoral behavior on the Internet, and threatening the country's interests, with penalties ranging from one year to life in prison.
