Iran Dissidents Not Free to Collect Freedom Prize

The European Union's annual Sakharov Prize for freedom of thought went to a pair of detained Iranian human rights activists. Empty chairs represented lawyer Nasrin Sotoudeh and film-maker Jafar Panahi at the prize ceremony, where leaders praised their efforts and urged Iran to set them free.
