Castro Makes Rare Appearance to Vote

Retired Cuban leader Fidel Castro, 86, chatted with well-wishers and reporters in Havana in a rare appearance as he voted in the country's general election. It was the first time he was seen in public for any length of time since 2010. "The people are truly revolutionary, they have really sacrificed. We don't have to prove it, history will," he was heard saying on state TV.
