The Stock Market is finally ready for business, but the return to normal for residents of places like Manhattan and countless other communities walloped by Superstorm Sandy promises to be a lengthy struggle. Critical repairs and restoration of power will take at least days, and clean-up is just beginning. Forty people lost their lives to the storm in the US and Candada, and the cost of damages of the record storm is estimated to be in the billions.
