Raw video
Description
"Raw video" is a term used to describe unedited or minimally edited video footage, often used in a news context. It can include user-generated content, live video feeds (such as from a news helicopter or camera crew), footage obtained from a security camera, and more. Raw video is usually presented without commentary, and at times without any audio at all. The term is used by news broadcasters and websites to differentiate footage from more traditionally edited news "packages" or segments. It is also used in certain contexts to give video a feeling of added authenticity, emphasizing the fact that it is being presented in an unfiltered form. (via Freebase)
