Description
Picos (translates to Peaks in English) is a municipality of the state of Piaui, Brazil, and is the state's third largest city. It is located in the south-central region of PiauĂ and is the most economically developed city in the region. The city's financial prosperity, combined with its geographical location, gives Picos a "commercial hub" status, especially for fuel and honey (Picos is known as the "capital of honey"). The residents of the municipality, totaling 75,000, originate from a variety of locations.
