Geva Binyamin
Description
Geva Binyamin, also known as Adam, is a communal Israeli settlement in the West Bank. The name Geva Binyamin comes from an eponymous Biblical site believed to have stood in the same location. Located five kilometers north-west of Jerusalem, it falls under the jurisdiction of Mateh Binyamin Regional Council. In 2007 it had a population of 3,500.
The village was established in 1984 by members of the Adam gar'in.
Kubur Bani Yisra’il is located on the outskirts of the settlement.
The international community considers Israeli settlements in the West Bank illegal under international law, but the Israeli government disputes this.
