Description
Chrishaun “CeCe” McDonald is an African American transgender woman who is charged with two counts of “second degree murder” following an incident outside a Minneapolis bar in 2011 that left a white man, Dean Schmitz, dead. The case has provoked controversy as she was reportedly physically attacked and subjected to racist and homophobic slurs, and her supporters maintain she acted in self defense.
